Itinerary

Day 1 : Gangtok– What to see

s Arrive at the Bagdogra airport where our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Gangtok .Then Drive to Lachen (9000 fts/127 kkms/5 hrs) Enroute stop by butterfly water falls and the Naga waterfalls. Drive to Chungthang and further to Lachen. Overnight stay at Hotel/Home stay.

Day 2 : Lachen To Lachung

s Early morning at 4 am Drive to Gurudongmar Lake (65 kms/3 hrs) . Stop by Thangu Police Outpost (Permit formalities) and hike around the valley (2 hrs).Back to Lachen . Lunch at Hotel/Homestay. After Lunch transfer to Lachung and check into Hotel.
s Evening free to walk around the town. Overnight stay at Hotel/Homestay.

Day 3 : Depature To Gangtok

s Breakfast at the Hotel. After Breakfast/Lunch drive back to Gangtok (124 kms/5 hrs) via Mangan,Rangrang,Dikchu. Stop by at Singhik to view Mt Khangchendzonga.

Day 4-5 : Kamakhya and Majuli

Welcome to Guwahati. our representative will assist you to check in at hotel. After breakfast will arrange a visit to Kaziranga National Park, the home of the “One Horned Rhinoceros”.n Check in at your hotel/Lodge/resort. n Evening free for leisure.nOvernight stay at hotel.

Next day, after breakfast, visit Kamakhya temple, a Shakti temple, which is known for Hindu Tantric practices, a very ancient temple with sculptures depicting pagan deities.

Jorhat-Majuli-Jorhat

After lunch, you will drive to Neamatighat, Jorhat where you will take a ferry and cross over to the island of Majuli, that claims to be the largest river island in the world is much threatened by climate change and is estimated to have lost a third of its landmass to erosion in the later part of 20th century.

Day 6-7 : AssamTea Gardens , Cherrapunjee and Shilong

The majestic green tea gardens and estates of Assam are known for malty flavor and strong color and taste.

Thereafter start your journey to Cherrapunjee, the erstwhile rainiest place in the world. On the way, experience the beautiful rolling hills, the flora and the waterfalls, most importantly the Nohkalikai or Seven Sisters Falls, a seven segmented waterfall which falls from a height of over a 1000 ft. (B,L,D).

Day 8-9: Arunachal Pradesh

Tawang is a huge steep sided valley which is extended upto Arunachal Pradesh. It is a remote area and one of the best places to get a glimpse of the Tibetan Buddhist lifestyle which is slowly disappearing from the world.

Nextday,We will join a hunting trip with some of the local men into the jungle. They usually spend up to a week in the jungle, looking for boar, deer, monkeys, birds, fish and even small river beetles to bring back and eat or sell at the markets. It will take us one day to hike to the hunting site and one day back. We will provide tents but the tribesmen usually sleep under the stars. On the last day we will return to the village and sleep again in the house of a friend of ours.

Sela Pass

Sela Pass is one of the high-altitude mountain pass in India, located in Tawang at an elevation of 4170 m (13,700 ft) and connecting Tawang with the rest country. Beautiful Sela Lake also known as Paradise Lake or frozen lake of Himalaya is situated close to the Sela Pass.

Day 10-11: Enjoy scenic beauty of Mizoram and Nagaland

Day 11-12: Manipur:

Imphal: The lust green landscapes, beautiful surroundings, unexplored territories and undulating rivers of Imphal make for a great tourist destination.

Moirang is a small town nestled in the state of Manipur. This place has seen wars and upheavals in the past but is beautiful nonetheless. Moirang is famous for the Loktak Lake whose serene water is home to plethora of flora and fauna.

Day 13 -14:Tripura: The land of unity in diversity

Ujjayanta Palace. Take heavy breakfast. 10 to 12 pm -Start with Ujjayanta Palace. It opens at 10 am and close 6 pm. Its in the city so within 15-20 minute you can reach. ...

Neer Mahal. 12-2 you will reach Neer Mahal. 55 km distance. . 45 you can see Neer Mahal.

Tripura Sundari / Matabari Temple Udaipur.

Day 15: Back to Kolkata by Air
